About David Adam Kline and David Kline, Jr.
The father and son authors, David Adam Kline (herein DAK) and David Kline, Jr. (herein DK), have pursued spiritual interests, including continuing group bible study, from 1910 to now.
These books are founded upon the study, experiences, teachings and writings of DAK (1874-1951). He was born in Iowa and reared in Chicago, Illinois; he attended the University of Michigan Law School for two years but was graduated from Chicago's John Marshall Law School in 1903. He was a member of the Illinois, Indian Territory and Oklahoma bars (state and federal).
DK was born and reared in Oklahoma. He was graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School in 1950 and presently practices in Oklahoma City. Before establishing the Kline Law Firm in 1983 with his son, DK was First Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma from 1961 to 1969. He also served as U. S. Bankruptcy Judge for Oklahoma's Western District from 1969-1982, was president of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges (1977-1978), and for fourteen years was a permanent faculty member of the Federal Judicial Center Seminar for Bankruptcy Judges, Washington, D.C.
