John Bunyan Collection
John Bunyan was a 17th Christian writer and preacher. Born in England in 1628, Bunyan had little education and was never formally trained as a preacher, yet today he is one of Christendom's most read authors. His best known work is The Pilgrim's Progress, a Christian allegory published between 1678 and 1684. This work is often said to be the most widely read English-language book in history.
The John Bunyan Collection is Volume 19 of the Christian Library Series. This edition of The Works of Bunyan is edited by George Offor, and is completely re-cataloged and revised, making them easier to read and search. The Pilgrim's Progress includes a newly-scanned collection of illustrations. In addition to Bunyan's works, we have also included lectures, notes, character studies, and other writings on Bunyan from authors John Brown, Cheever, Rev. W. Y. Fullerton, John Kelman, Scott, and Alexander Whyte.
With over 70 works by and about John Bunyan, this is our most comprehensive Bunyan collection ever. Click here for a complete contents list of the John Bunyan Collection.
